Biography
Irmak FERAH OKKAY is an Assoc. Prof. of Pharmacology at "Ataturk University, School of Pharmacy, Erzurum, Turkey. She received her MS degree in Medical Pharmacology in 2012 from the Ataturk University. In 2015, she obtained her PhD in Medical Pharmacology at the Ataturk University. Her research is focused on experimental animal models. In particular, Dr. FERAH OKKAY is interested in in vitro and in vivo models of neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. FERAH OKKAY is teaching basic pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, drug development and toxicology to pharmacy students, undergraduates and graduate students. She has published more than 40 international publications and four book chapters. She is a member of the Turkish Pharmacological Society. In addition, she is also serving as reviewer to several journals.
